Frequently asked questions
What people ask most before booking. If yours isn't here, the island team answers on WhatsApp.
Booking and payment
How do I book?
Choose the services on the site, tap "Book", pick options and extras and send. The message arrives ready on the agent's WhatsApp, who confirms date, time and price. No forms and no sign-up.
Do I have to pay everything before the trip?
No. A deposit confirms the booking (usually 50%, or a fixed amount per person on some services). The rest is paid by the day of the service, by Pix or card.
What payment methods do you accept?
Pix and card. Card payments have a machine surcharge, and our team tells you the amount before you pay.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. With 72h or more notice, we refund 100%. With less than 72h, we keep 50%. With rain or rough seas, we reschedule or give a full refund. Full conditions are in the Booking terms.
Is the site price final?
It's an estimate of what you chose. Items marked "to be confirmed" or "on request" are priced by the agent, who confirms the total before you pay anything.
About the tours
Is the TUPA included in the price?
No. TUPA is the environmental preservation fee (R$ 70 per person), charged at the island entrance and separate from the transfer. You can pay ahead in the TUPA CAIRU app. Children under 5 do not pay.
Is lunch included?
On most tours, no: everyone pays for their own, usually at stops like Boipeba. On many services you can add a meal or snack as an extra.
Can children come?
Yes. Most tours welcome children aged 2 and over.
What if I can't swim?
No problem. You can enjoy it all the same, and we recommend a life jacket.
Do you have private tours?
Yes: private boat and exclusive versions of some tours. Prices and availability on WhatsApp.
Is the site's tide table official?
The times come from the Brazilian Navy's table for the Port of Salvador, the official point closest to Morro. In Morro it can vary by a few minutes. Use it to plan your day, not to navigate. The team confirms the real tour time.
Weather and safety
What if it rains on the day of the tour?
Your safety comes first. Depending on conditions, we reschedule or give a full refund.
What's the best time to go?
September to March is usually drier. April to July is rainier, but prices tend to drop and the island is calmer.
Arrival and logistics
How do I get to Morro de São Paulo?
The most common way is the land and boat transfer (van, ferry and boat) from Salvador, or the catamaran, straight across the sea. The details are in "How to get here".
Do you pick up at Salvador airport?
Yes. The land and boat transfer picks you up at Salvador International Airport or at your hotel, at the agreed time.
Are there cars in Morro de São Paulo?
No. The island has no car access: people get around on foot, by cart or by tractor.
Nothing found. Ask the team on WhatsApp.
